    <description>Are you using passwordless login? Before you try the rsync, try to ssh from this server to the Solaris machine.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would say, you correct the ssh-keys and passwordless login first.</description>

      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;I know nothing, but a quick Google search for&lt;BR /&gt;the error message suggests looking at the&lt;BR /&gt;server log file ("/var/log/rsyncd.log"?),&lt;BR /&gt;and the server configuration file&lt;BR /&gt;("/etc/rsyncd.conf"?)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What did your Web search find?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Someone who did know something might wonder&lt;BR /&gt;which rsync versions are in use here (on each&lt;BR /&gt;system):&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;      rsync --version</description>
