      <description>Hi &lt;BR /&gt;I am compiling samba-3.4.3 on HPUX 11.31PA, I get the below error &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Compiling dynconfig.c&lt;BR /&gt;Compiling param/loadparm.c&lt;BR /&gt;cc: panic 5172: Backend Assert ** Cause of inconsistency unknown. (5172)&lt;BR /&gt;The following command failed:&lt;BR /&gt;)&lt;BR /&gt;*** Error exit code 1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Stop.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know if you any solution or workaround for this problem</description>

      <description>What version of the C compiler do you have?&lt;BR /&gt;What compiler options are you using?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't have the latest, you'll need to contact the Response Center.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;Jupinder: check the page no. 294 and 295 , may be it will useful for you&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It helps if you are a little more specific.  I see nothing there that matches panic 5172 and with that text.</description>
