DATIO Software Utility for HP-UX Based Systems

I have a customer that has a tape written with datio utility and want me to try and read it.

Can someone tell me if this utility come standard with HP-UX operating system or is it a separated software that needs to be purchase.

If not is there a Linux utility that can read a datio written tape?

datio is/was shipped available for HPUX 8x and 9x, and shipped w/ DAT drives, not part of the OS.

It further says that its an "enhanced" cpio format, with at cpio archive first, followed by a Table of Contents.

I'd think cpio might get it done, even now.
