vx_maxlink Parameter 11.00

I know this is old, but I have a client running HP-UX B.11.00 U 9000/800 1139424666 unlimited-user license. They are running into the issue of too many links, at 32k limit. I check in /stand/system and I see the vx_maxlink set to 65433 I do not see this parameter in tunable parameters displayeed inside SAM. If I do a kmtune -l i see
Parameter: vx_maxlink
Value: 65433
Default: 32767
Minimum: -
Module: -

However the value does not take effect and we can't get above the default value. The server has been rebooted I do not see PHKL_28185 installed in swlist. But the readme for that that states OS of 11.11. We are running 11.00.

Is there an even older patch I need to apply to 11.00 to get this to work.

Hi:

For 11.0 you should have PHKL_28105 and probably PHCO_31879 too.

See the patch notes for both via the ITRC Patch Database. PHKL will require a reboot to install.

OK cool, I just check swlist and do not see either one of those installed....
