    <description>goodmorning&lt;BR /&gt;ok uname -a : hpux b11-23 u ia64&lt;BR /&gt;nslookup 192.168.1.2 of client pc (fedora redhat)gives the name and his ip adress correctly.&lt;BR /&gt;for nsswitch.conf file i look in /etc. i found others nsswitch.* files but not .conf.&lt;BR /&gt;.rhosts of the client pc is declared the server ip and name.&lt;BR /&gt;regards</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it is probably missing in your environment:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To modify switch order,you need to copy in a fresh /etc/nsswitch.conf file from /usr/newconfig/etc .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But , by the way I do not think so it is mandatory ; I use rlogin between my customers server and have no problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Did you check this :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ps -ef | grep -i rpc</description>
