Command to bypass application on reboot

Hi all

Please forgive me,

I have been searching both memory and notes but can't find.

Whats the command (ctrl ) to bypass an application thats wont start during bootup

Is it -| (the pipe symbol)?

That rings a bell with me for some reason, but I'm not 100% sure about it.

Hi all

Thanks for the replies , i'm not sure that i rectified the problem with the start up as my console started to act rather strangely.

The ctrl | (pipe) pattern sprung to mind, the problem was though the | didn't correspond to the key on the console

I now have a blank console screen, but can log on remotely

I have searched for the nethealth startup script in /sbin/rc.config.d but it's not there
