      <description>Scenario ..&lt;BR /&gt;hostname=mars&lt;BR /&gt;hostname=venus (remote drive is here /dev/rmt/0m)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Login venus (as root) ..&lt;BR /&gt;1) Create .rhosts file under root's home directory. Content should look like this ..&lt;BR /&gt;mars root&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Login mars (as root) ..&lt;BR /&gt;1) Test first with remsh ..&lt;BR /&gt;# remsh venus ll /dev/rmt/0m&lt;BR /&gt;===&amp;gt; it should list /dev/rmt/0m file on venus without needing you to enter your passowrd.&lt;BR /&gt;# cd /var/adm&lt;BR /&gt;# fbackup -f venus:/dev/rmt/0m -v -i syslog&lt;BR /&gt;==&amp;gt; test it ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, you need to have entries in the .rhosts file. The remote backup can be done by specifying the -f device_path option:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fbackup -f hostname:/device_name&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Remember, you can only use magnetic tapes on remote operations.</description>
