Hello everybody,

Is theire any limitation (bigger than 128GB) that a locical Volume can have under HPUX 11.00.

( In every HP LVM-Dokumentation that I can find is written a limitation to the Filesystem Size about 128GB, like HPUX 10.20!)
Some people told me, that a tested limitation is now set to 1TB (supported from HP, under HPUX 11.00, 64Bit).

Thanks for your help.
This question has been asked before and should be retrievable from the knowledge base.
Failing that, have a read of the Release Notes for JFS version 3.3 at:

http://www.software.hp.com
or
http://www.docs.hp.com

Hi Toby,

haven't talk to you lately. It's a strange way to communicate with someone you know...
Please check out what JFS 3.3 can do for you. The limits of the 'normal' hp-ux 11.0 (32bit/64bit) is:

file size 128 Gb
filesystem size 128 Gb
