C++ license for hp ux

Hi,

i have C++ license for hp ux 11iv2. i have use it for HP ux 11iv3. still showing evaluation version. do i need new license for v3. or same license i can use. plz advice

Yes, you can use the same Eval license.

hi,

i have installed evaluation copy and then copy the license key to the file /opt/aCC/newconfig/aCC.cwd

like this way,

#cd /opt/aCC/newconfig
#touch
type the key

save the file with aCC.cwd

but still showing evaluation

Of course. You haven't purchased the compiler.
That compiler uses codewords to get it off of the DVD, not aCC.cwd.

so is it ok even it show evaluation copy.
as it it hp ux v3 data center edition. i think compiler comes with os.

if wrong plz advise

It will expire after 60 days and then you need to purchase it.

No, the bundled C compiler won't compile C++.
You must purchase the C/aC++ compiler.

The license is per CPU. You must purchase more licenses and make sure you have the 11.31 application media.
