HP-UX script having issues

Hi,

Attached is a HP-UX script that i created for password expiry notification.

The problem with this script is that it works only when i change password aging policy from Default (enable) to enable in the SAM Menu "Modify Security Policies", and when i set the policy manually.

It doesn't work with the Default (enable) as expected.

What could be the problem. Kindly help!!

OS ver : HP-UX 11.31

That doesn't provide any useful information relative to the script's output.

The Trusted Computing Base (TCB) model is deprecated at 11.31. Have a look at the 'prpwd(4)' manpages.

The manpages for 'getprpw' note that "This command is intended for SAM use only. It may change with each release and can not be guaranteed to be backward compatible."
