Hi,

As I read the manual of SG 11.20 correctly, both VLAN's and APA are supported with ServiceGuard. My question is, is VLAN over APA supported when using ServiceGuard??

The situation is as follows:

* 6 physical network interfaces

* 2 used for heart beat

* 4 used for production/test

Can I use the 4 interfaces in an APA trunk and run 2 VLAN's over it, and be supported by ServiceGuard?

Or do you guys advise just to use APA only and use 2-2-2 (Heartbeat-Production-Test) coupling of network interfaces.

Thanks,

Martien

Vlan over Apa with SG is supported from 11.18 with 11.23.

IMHO i would go for 2 -2 -2 just for ease of administration, and error troubleshooting, but if you really need a 4 nic pipe bandwith then thats another thing..
