L3 is the most skilled sysadmin level, right?

A L3 sysadmin should be able to:
- design and implement new Serviceguard clusters
- plan and implement all kinds of configuration changes to existing clusters
- troubleshoot Serviceguard cluster problems.

Instructions for all this are available in the standard Serviceguard manual, titled "Managing Serviceguard". It is available for free in PDF form:
http://www.hp.com/go/hpux-serviceguard-docs

Each edition of the book is for a specific release of Serviceguard, so ideally you should find out the version of Serviceguard you'll be working with, and read the correct version of the book. But if you're preparing for Serviceguard in general, reading the latest edition is probably a good idea.
Here's a direct link to the latest edition:

http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02437444/c02437444.pdf

MK

The link posted above is to an illegal copy of Charles's book.

By reading that website and posting links here, you are helping to ensure that books like Charles's never get published again. This is straight and outright theft and respectable sysadmins should not tolerate it.

I will be contacting the site admins to get that link pulled.

Duncan
