      <description>Hi Guru, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We are facing problem while NFS mounting between ruprddb(CLuster node) to ruleccdev system. Details are as below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Server:ruprddb ( Cluster name – dbciRRP )&lt;BR /&gt;Client:ruleccdev&lt;BR /&gt;OS: HPUX 11.31&lt;BR /&gt;NFS : A.11.31.07&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From server ruprddb file system &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dbciRRP:/export/usr/sap/trans    /usr/sap/trans&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if I set the entry in /etc/dfs/dfstab&lt;BR /&gt;share -F nfs -o  rw=ruleccdev,access=ruleccdev /usr/sap/trans &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bdf showing below error &lt;BR /&gt;dbciRRP:/export/usr/sap/RRP&lt;BR /&gt;                   10420224 3876585 6134811   39% /usr/sap/RRP&lt;BR /&gt;dbciRRP:/export/sapmnt/RRP&lt;BR /&gt;                   10420224 3940872 6074866   39% /sapmnt/RRP&lt;BR /&gt;NFS access failed for server dbciRRP: error 7 (RPC: Authentication error)&lt;BR /&gt;NFS fsstat failed for server dbciRRP: error 7 (RPC: Authentication error)&lt;BR /&gt;bdf: /usr/sap/trans: Permission denied&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Highly appreciate, if you could suggest the solution on priority. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Prashant</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Correct permission on the NFS server. Restart all three nfs services in this way.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.server stop&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.core stop&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.core start&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.server start&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try again your remote mount command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, please post.&lt;BR /&gt;showmount -e hostname&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Run that command from both the server and remote system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hello Prashant&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It seems like NFS has a permission issue, please try to restart the NFS daemons at the server side.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;first unmount the NFS client filesystem then do the below in the server side,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.server stop&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.core stop&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.core start&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.server start&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Kemo &amp;amp; Dennis, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for youre support. The issue has been resolved by HP Tech. Support. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;They updated the below entry &lt;BR /&gt;/etc/auto_master&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/auto.direct&lt;BR /&gt;hanfs.db&lt;BR /&gt;start and stop the /sbin/init.d/autofs&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BR&lt;BR /&gt;Prashant&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
