https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/weblogic-licensing-exception/m-p/2733973#M66077 Hi, I can sucessfully install WL using a script in the command promt, however i get an exception in the licencing phase.<BR /><BR />bad document for elName=license-group doc=null ...returning null...<BR />java.lang.NullPointerException<BR /> at com.bea.installer.registry.LicenseMerger.merge(LicenseMerger.java:96)<BR /> at com.bea.installer.registry.LicenseMerger.main(LicenseMerger.java:372)<BR /><BR />once again i know the script i use is not to blame since i have installed WL sucessfully in other HP-UX machines. any suggestion on the cause of this exception are welcome!
