My apologies.. my original question was not very clear. I am looking for a tool which I can use the administer 7 or 8 servers. I would like to be able to do account management, backup management, patch and software installation and analysis, and some performance/event monitoring. SCM sounds like the right product, especially with their rules based management (let others do root functions without letting them be root), and monitoring via EMS.

Hi Bruce,

I am currently installing the product and want to manage the same type of tasks you mentioned for about 12 servers. Am referencing Document Id KBRC00002473 dealing with patch requirements and hope to get a maintenance window shortly to perform the required reboots. Will keep you informed as to progress and functionality

Walter.
