    <description>Of course - you don't need a compiler on HP-UX to install Oracle...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For 11.23 and 11.31 at least the file you are after is in the fileset&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ProgSupport.C-INC&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not sure about 11.11, but probably the same fileset... what OS version are you running?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This would normally always be installed on a system unless you went with some kind of "minimal install" when you installed the OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So see if you have that fileset installed and if not, install off the core OS DVD.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;During oracle installation we have a problem with missing file /usr/include/sys/types.h. First I thought, that this file is part of C Compiler, but on other machines is file present without C Compiler. Is there any way how to get it without installing compiler?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for help...</description>

      <description>I wonder if you hit bthis known issue described here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-5814/pr01s08.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-5814/pr01s08.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See the issue entitled "Install or Update of an Older OE with Certain Patches in a Combined Depot May Result in Errors"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There's a workaround described there as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan</description>
