serialscsi is included in SAS-common bundles. You can safely download and apply the driver.

Akasi is right. There are 2 bundles : CommonIO containing the SAS-COMMON product, and SerialSCSI, containing the SAS-SASD product. The SerialSCSI bundle has the CommonIO bundle as a prerequisite.
These are 2 different bundles, but I fail to find the SerialSCSI bundle on software.hp.com with a quick search, I only get the commonIO bundle.

It could be that both bundles are integrated now in 1 bundle, but I have seen no evidence of that on the HP-website, but you could download the bundle and check if the SAS-SASD product is in it.

I had the same problem as Wim, i could only find the posted bundle, regarding to http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-4874-2/ar01s01.html#driver_versions

There was only for 200712 a specific bundle SerialSCSI-00 all other points to the CommonIO.
