Hi to all,

I am trying to install a IBM ProprinterXL on our network for invoice printing. That said the printer is hooked up via parallel port to a HP jet direct who is hooked up to the network thus enabling printing of the invoices. I used a dumplot device with CR to get the device to properly print in sequence and I correctly installed the esc sequence in our ERP system to print the invoice. What is happening is that when the printer finishes one invoice the head stops at the last character instead of moving to line 1 of the following invoice. When printing thru windows the printer works perfectly but printing from Unix is a pain. The widows solution is a temp. fix until we find the solution to the Unix problem.

Any ideas?

THX

Otto
You probably have to pad the model scripts with formfeed characters to get the printer to advance to the next page. Check out this thread for more detailshttp://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1341833
