    <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX 11i v3 on itanium,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to write a restore script which will involve automating vxrestore and work it's way through a tape restoring each fileset.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;on Tru64 I use...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# mt fsf (position no.)&lt;BR /&gt;# cd (to restore dir)&lt;BR /&gt;# vrestore -vx&lt;BR /&gt;# mt rewind&lt;BR /&gt;# mt fsf .....and so on&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But with vxrestore on HP-UX this prompts for next volume..&lt;BR /&gt;"Specify next volume #:" &lt;BR /&gt;obviously there is no operator response to this as it's in the background, the job then fails.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a way of automating this ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Steve&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
