      <title>Oracle10G R2 application server installation document required</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; We are trying to install Oracle 10G R2 application server (10.1.2.0.2) on a rp4440 server having hp-ux 11.31. But we are unable to find out any installation document to get the pre-requisites for the application server. if anybody had installed the same version on hpux11iv3, then please help me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks and regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sreejith K&lt;/P&gt;

If so, you should have access to Oracle Metalink.&lt;BR /&gt;There you can find a note 733650.1 : "Known Issues Installing Oracle Application Server 10.1.2/10.1.4 on HP-UX PA-RISC 11.31".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Generally it says :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.2) Certification Information available at&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/as_certification_r2_101202.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/as_certification_r2_101202.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.2) Certification Information &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note 67 specifies&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;67 HP patch PHKL_35936 is required.&lt;BR /&gt;The following Oracle patches must be applied depending on the version of Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 you are using:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;* 10.1.2.0.2 requires Patch 6396555 (&lt;A href="http://updates.oracle.com/download/6396555.html)" target="_blank"&gt;http://updates.oracle.com/download/6396555.html)&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;* 10.1.2.2.0 requires Patch 6522605 (&lt;A href="http://updates.oracle.com/download/6522605.html)" target="_blank"&gt;http://updates.oracle.com/download/6522605.html)&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2) Apply workaround from internal Bug 6366811 -PREREQ CHECKS FOR KERNEL PARAMETERS FAIL ON HPUX.PARISC OS-11.31&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Create a symbolic link /usr/sbin/kmtune with following commands:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    cd /usr/sbin&lt;BR /&gt;    ln -s /usr/sbin/kctune kmtune</description>
