topic Package Modifications in Operating System - HP-UX

I need to make a package configuration change on several existing packages I have that are currently up and runing on 2 node clusters. I'm running a mix of ServiceGuard 11.17 and 11.18 versions on a few different clusters we have. The change I'm making is we want to change the AUTO_RUN setting to "NO" from "YES"

I'm trying to figure out if this will require us to shut the active packages down to make this change or if this can be done with package up and running with cmapplyconf?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

/KPS

you should be able to do this online, check the manuals out.
for A.11.18 see page 381 of http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02056254/c02056254.pdf

and page 355 of http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02056249/c02056249.pdf for A.11.17

you can do this while the packages are online by using the following command.

#cmmodepkg -e packagename

I think I got my answer by looking at those case scenarios in both of the manuals referenced.

Thanks
/KPS
