Hey, guys. I have two nodes in a ServiceGuard cluster and I'm going to have to rebuild the primary node. I will need to fail the application over to the standby node while I do this. My problem is that I need to make sure I retain all of the users' access to the standby server that was on the primary server. These servers are in trusted mode. How do I go about doing this? Can I just copy over the /etc/passwd,group files and the entire /tcb directory over to the standby?

Thank you!

Hello,

Here are two threads discussing moving user accounts between two systems:
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1212160

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1408653

Also make sure you have Managing ServiceGuard manual handy:
http://docs.hp.com/en/B3936-90144/B3936-90144.pdf
