      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I issue command &lt;BR /&gt;ntpdate oa-10.utac.com.sg &lt;BR /&gt;on the prompt and i am able to update the time of my server from the time server oa-10.utac.com.sg. But, when ic reate a cron job as follows&lt;BR /&gt;15 * * * * ntpdate oa-10.utac.com.sg&lt;BR /&gt;It didn't update the time and i see the error message &lt;BR /&gt;"ntpdate[26847]: no server suitable for synchronization found"&lt;BR /&gt;In the email.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;any help?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Salman&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I am also not sure whether HP UX can sync time from a windows server because my time server is windows based.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>From a Windows *NTP* server, yes... but Windows servers are not NTP servers by default.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The "no server suitable for synchronization found" message from the ntpd command means that the oa-10.utac.com.sg did not "speak" the NTP protocol.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MK</description>
