Power up/down sequence

This may be a dumb question but I'm asking to verify it any way.
We have a new HP 9000 rp2450 "A"
It has a SC10, CD/Tape rack and the CPU in it.
I do not have the UPS yet so I must shutdown the thing during the power search hours.
If I'm thinking right the power dow sequences should be: Shutdown command, PowerOff CPU, SC10 then CD/Tape rack. Then pull the plug.
PowerUp Sequence: Plug it in, CD/Tape rack, SC10 then the CPU.
This unit is in a temperary location that is why I am shuting it down during the plant factory startup and shutdown so I do not get hit with their prower surges.
Am I thinking right?

That looks fine, remember to let the disks spin up before bring the cpu back on line.

Using a UPS is always better and safe. The steps for shutdown and startup looks fine !
