hello,

i need help by installing hp-ux v2 on a HP Integrity server. I don't know how i install hp-ux. What method of cold installing is posible and where i can find the correct installing media. I have order the Mission Critical from dspp but the dvd is not bootable ?? my favourite installing method is direct installation from the DVD media. why its dosent work with a dvd install. please support me

What error do you get when you try to boot the DVD?

Which v2 Release version are you using?

The installation DVD's are certainly bootable. So :
-> Your DVD is bad (never had that myself before)
-> Be sure to insert DVD 1 (I guess there are 2 of them)
-> I think an rx2600 allways comes with a DVD drive, but please check for sure it is not a CD drive. If so, you will have to replace the drive, or trequest installation CD's instead of DVD's.
