ftp logging for single user

Hi,

I would need to enable ftp logging for single user that is a memeber of guestgroup in hpux 11.00

In the ftpaccess,i can give only "log tranfers guest *" which enables logging for all users in guestgroup.

I dont think we have any option to enable logging for individual users..can anyone please confirm it..?

Hello,

I believe you are right. Standard FTP daemon that HP-UX 11.0 has does not allow logging for individual users.

You would have to use some workarounds that
might help (like TCP Wrappers), but the
effort is not worth too much. See one of the
