Where's ServiceGuard?

Setting up a new cluster and it's been awhile since I've done this. We're running HP-UX 11.23 MCOE. The documenation states that ServiceGuard is installed by default on MCOE, but when I do a swlist | grep T2777BA, or even search for ServiceGuard, nothing shows up. I've tried to find the depot to install it on the DVDs that came with the system. There is a folder with T2777BA on disk 2 of the Application Software DVD, but it is empty. I've found this once before, but can't remember where it was to install it. Can someone please tell me where to find this software?

Bonsoir Paul,

What about "swlist -l product | egrep -i guard" ? I have no installed 11.23 MCOE box near me to check, but in my mind you don't see included products with a single "swlist". For example, I guess that you no more see OnlineJFS, MirrorDisk, ...

Eric

Shalom,

swlist -i

You will find Serviceguard.

You may need a codeword to activate it, but if you have MCOE, you should be active and able to see and use the software.

SEP

T2777BA is the CFS for RAC extension of ServiceGuard if ServiceGuard is bought/installed separately. If you have MCOE, the ServiceGuard CFS for RAC product is T2797BA.

Do you have the codeword for it? It is a separate product even if you have MCOE installed. This is from the table of contents of DVD #2.

CPL Product: T2775BA
Codeword Req.: Yes
Size: 210879590
Description: HP Serviceguard Cluster File System

CPL Product: T2776BA
Codeword Req.: Yes
Size: 222226581
Description: HP Serviceguard Cluster File System for Oracle

CPL Product: T2777BA
Codeword Req.: Yes
Size: 225874014
Description: HP Serviceguard Cluster File System for RAC
Okay as I said, it's been awhile since I've done this. Apparently I need to enter the customer ID and the codeword BEFORE the T2777BA even shows up in the list. I gotta quit wearing so many hats!

Thanks guys...
