Is possible recover a ignite from RP8440(hpux-11.23) to a RP3440? via ignite server.

Hi Porthos,

IMHO for cross platforms this is always a question of trial and error, but I guess this should work, because the rp8440 image should have everything included what the small rp3440 needs. Just make sure you have all the latest patch bundles installed.

Hello Porthos,

When Ignite was created , the ideas was create an "image per server", or tape per server , the answer to that questions is "maybe" , nobody could ensure that's going to work or not, you must try and check for the results.
