      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Single word answer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX requires swap to be 50% of RAM in order to install, let alone load.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Why: Because the HP says so. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One of our customers tried to break this rule and in the lab and they did manage to get the system to boot. It didn't even run a day before it crashed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Seriously there is a lot of R&amp;amp;D that goes into this and HP set this minimum based on good testing methodology.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>No, you need to have swap atleast half of the physical memory to install the OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also be sure after the installation make the swap double to the physical memory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SKR</description>
