Hi

When doing an Ignite Backup (make_tape_recovery -A -a /dev/rmt/0mn) of our systems I am getting the following errors for a lot of the disks:

vgcfgbackup: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c8t0d1":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
vgcfgbackup: /etc/lvmtab is out of date with the running kernel:Kernel indicate.
Cannot proceed with backup.

There doesn't seem to be any problems with the servers apart from these errors and the Ignite backup is running OK after the errors. Why would these errors be coming up?
Both the systems are connected to the same XP256, could this be the problem?

Thanks

Michael

Alex

How do I access that support call reference?, when I enter the ID into my Software Call Manager, it doesn't find it.

TG
Unfortunately, when I run vgscan -v I get the same errors. Any other ideas?

Michael
