    <description>Hi &lt;BR /&gt;we have Oracle 9i (9.2.0.8) Online Database on rx5670 Server and OS HP-UX 11i v2.&lt;BR /&gt;We are getting following message on trace file &lt;BR /&gt;orau5_dbw0_24052.trc which is at /u01/oracle/admin/orau5/bdump:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ksfvquery: slave process did not start, error 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can any one help us how we can solve or stop the message or reduce the trace file?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Khairul&lt;BR /&gt;Bangladesh</description>

      <description>Hi Khairul,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It looks like some misconfiguration between your DISK_ASYNC_IO and DBWR_IO_SLAVES parameters. Try setting DBWR_IO_SLAVES=0.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Adan.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
