      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;hello, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am trying to install open64 in HP-UX 11.23. it got installed .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then i gave the command &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# whereis opencc&lt;BR /&gt;opencc: /opt/open64/bin/opencc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;that means it got installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i run command opencc with out any parameter it gives me error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;opencc: /opt/lre/lib/libc.so.6.1: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by LRE_EXEC)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me, what should i do..&lt;BR /&gt;i dint find glibc_2.3 for HP-UX any where can any one help me where to download.</description>

      <description>&amp;gt;I am trying to install open64 in HP-UX 11.23. it got installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Where did you get it?  From some Integrity Linux machine?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It seems you need to install the LRE beta?</description>

      <description>Sorry it was &lt;A href="http://www.open64.net." target="_blank"&gt;www.open64.net.&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I logged in as supers user and steps i followed to install were&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.) Set the path in .profile file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export TOOLROOT=/opt/open64&lt;BR /&gt;export PATH=$TOOLROOT/bin:$PATH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.) Then executed the .profile file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;source .profile&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but i couldn't run the source command it gave&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;source .profile&lt;BR /&gt;sh: source:  not found.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So i logged out and again logged in the profile file was updated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3.)Then I opened the open64-4.2.1 folder&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cd open64-4.2.1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ls&lt;BR /&gt;INSTALL-4.2.1  RELEASE-4.2.1  binroot        install.sh     readme&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then executed shell script file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#sh install.sh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4.)Then i gave the command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# whereis opencc&lt;BR /&gt;opencc: /opt/open64/bin/opencc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;that means it got installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i run command opencc with out any parameter it gives me error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;opencc: /opt/lre/lib/libc.so.6.1: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by LRE_EXEC)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That's all.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

Then executed the .profile file&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;source .profile&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;source is the scummy C shell keyword for the term "source" a file.  For a real shell you do:&lt;BR /&gt;$ . .profile</description>

      <description>I don't believe anyone has ever built opencc on HP-UX.  As far as I know it has only been built on Linux systems.</description>
