Java VM tuning on ia64 servers

Hello,

I have a Java application, running on a ia64 server, failing with the following error:

"java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space"

I have modified default heap size in the following way:

-Xmn64m -Xms128m -Xmx128m

and now it works fine.

Moreover I would like to known:

1. the default heap size of Java VM
2. hot to properly tune it

Default heap size is 64 MB.

it seems the doc doesn't cover the ITANIUM case. Isn't it?

Integrity is mentioned in expanding_memory.
Have you looked at the the HPjmeter documentation?
