unlock root! please help !

my root account is lock.how can i unlock it?
it is HP-C3700 visualize

Hi,

Is your system trusted? (tcb - C2)

Then, root can always login at the console, and the account can be unlocked by the command:

/usr/lbin/modprpw -l -k root

my system is trusted .
the root account is lock because of my mistake.
the command i have no power to do it !

/usr/lbin/modprpw -l -k root

need superuser can do it ! i just can use normal account to login!

Hi again,

When the root account is locked, you still can login as the root user on the console!

You should try that.
