      <title>removing Service guard</title>

      <description>I have the need to completly remove the service guard software and config on a two node cluster. Anything to look out for?</description>

      <description>If you want to de-install the cluster together with all packages, you may consider a cold install, because I assume all applications were within the packages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's up to you, your current setup and your needs.</description>

      <description>well it depends how deep yopur config is currently&lt;BR /&gt;you need to:&lt;BR /&gt;halt the cluster&lt;BR /&gt;cmdeleteconf the cluster configuration&lt;BR /&gt;use vgchange -c n to mark each vg as non-cluster aware&lt;BR /&gt;swremove Serviceguard&lt;BR /&gt;remove the /etc/cmcluster directory&lt;BR /&gt;modify /etc/lvmrc to auto activate all vgs&lt;BR /&gt;possibly remove vg's from one or more nodes&lt;BR /&gt;remove mount points if no longer needed&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just a few items&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
