Hi all

We are planning to migrate our vlan due to security reasons Please let me know what is the procedure to change the IP in SGeSAP cluster

Shalom,

Same as any other service guard package.

Find the package control script, change the IP address.

cmcheckconf
cmapplyconf

Make sure the IP address works before you do any of this.

It might be a good precaution to schedule some down time because its possible this will spit out some error messages and bring down the package.

This is fine there is configuration file for SGeSAP iam finding IP in the same

sap.config attaching the same for your reference

Halt the package on the node.
Edit the sap.config file, updating the IP.
Copy the change to the other nodes sap.config file.

The package configuration file may have a SUBNET reference in it. If the main IP of the NIC was changed as well, then this SUBNET reference should be changed and cmapplyconf'd with the package halted.

If the relocatable IP of the package is to be changed, halt the package and update this file and copy the modifications to the other server.

Start the package to test.
