    <description>Hi , &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have configured MC service guard cluster on two rx3660 , using LVM , &lt;BR /&gt;i dont have the Oracle integration kit , &lt;BR /&gt;i have configured the package control and config files , &lt;BR /&gt;where in these files i should include the oracle scripts to startup and shutdown the database , at which level ?&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in control file you'll see to functions:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;function customer_defined_run_cmds&lt;BR /&gt;function customer_defined_halt_cmd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;first one is running in startup the other is while halting. You can put your scrips to be run as root. in scripts you can swtich user to oracle and run sqlplus etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kenan.</description>

      <description>Toni,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also you can make a script for database startup and shutdown as per your environment taking DBA guys input and put the same in above mentioned functions so that you need not to go and update configuration files everytime.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
