The only CFS available on HP-UX is the Veritas Cluster Filesystem which comes with Serviceguard Storage Mangement Suite Cluster Filesystem.

On Windows/Linux we also offer the Polyserve Cluster Filesystem.

Unsurprisingly the RedHat GFS Filesystem is available for RedHat Enterprise Linux only.

HTH

Duncan

Hi,

Our application is running in a NFS Mounted filesystem ON HP UNIX. The NFS Server and CLients are HP UX 11.23.

As we are facing some locking and performance issue we are planning for a cluster Filesystem.

Can Somebody suggests the details of CFS?

You probably want the Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Cluster Filesystem (SGCFS).

This WP provides a good intro:

http://h71028.www7.hp.com/ERC/downloads/4AA0-3466ENW.pdf

HTH

Duncan

CFS (Cluster File System) is available in 3 of the 7 Storage Management Suite bundles.
This section of the Online documents discusses the Storage Management Suite:
http://docs.hp.com/en/ha.html#HP%20Serviceguard%20Storage%20Management%20Suite

Consider reading, "Veritas Storage Foundation 5.0 Cluster File System Administration Guide Extracts for HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite, Second Edition, May 2008"

Also, for 11.23, read, "HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.02.00 for HP-UX 11i v2 Release Notes, September 2008"

That document outlines each bundle and it's features as well as upgrade paths and other important details.
