Traceroute error

Hi,
We have Hp server whose ip at lan0 is 144.119.X.X and at lan1:0 is 163.175.X.X
When i try to traceroute 172.16.X.X it gone failed and giving the message multiple interfaces are found using 163.175.X.X @ lan0:1

Can any one help me to fix this issue.

Hi,

You can use traceroute -i interface_no
check man for more details

Hi,

As above, use traceroute with -i option

traceroute -i lan0 172.16.X.X
