      <description>Sorry for the lack of info&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it is related to FC&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am monitoring with EVA perf controller ports of an HP EVA 8000. I noticed that there were some Bad Rx Char on all my ports and just was wonduring what could cause these problem and where to start.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you</description>

      <description>I've attached a text doc and also included it's url in case.  Usually Bad Rx Char is hardware related and fixed by replacing the fibre cable.  If you have alcohol and a paper towel you can also try cleaning the ends.  I was taugth to wet the paper towel, followed by 6 or so veritcal swipes and 6 or so horizonal swipes.
