      <description>You can take an HP Training Class - Posix Shell Programming.  The student workbook has a good bit of samples and it would be helpful for you.  I still have mine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can search this site for scripts - they are scattered throughout.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I enjoyed the following books, that included examples:&lt;BR /&gt;KornShell Programming Tuturial by Rosenberg&lt;BR /&gt;Effective awk Programming by Robbins&lt;BR /&gt;   (I just love awk...)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgrds,&lt;BR /&gt;Rita</description>
