Which older PA-RISC models would run HP-UX 11i v3 ?

Hi,

I'm trying to determine on which PA-RISC systems will "HP-UX 11i v3" run.

I found the list of current supported systems at http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/servers/byos/hpuxservers.html, but we have older models not enumerated in this list.

Any ideas where could I find which older PA-RISC models would run HP-UX 11i v3 ?

11iv3 will only run on the supported systems:

If it's not on the list, it probably isn't going to work...and depending on *how* old they are, you might not be able to get 11.23 to run on them either.

For example, some of the scsi drivers needed for k-class boxes aren't available

I was just looking at that today, for our rp7410. Looks like that's the cutoff! Lucky me!!!

The best bet is to check the release notes for HP-UX 11.iv2 and HP-UX 11.iv3. As of HP-UX 11.iv2 all support for High Voltage Differental SCSI devices was dropped so if your system has HVD SCSI it's not supported.
