Installation Error

Dear Gurus,

I have a rx2620 server that i'm facing problem installing Ux on. It gives the below error and just shutdowns. Please fine below the error message that I keep getting:

* Installing fileset "SCSI-Provider.SCSIP-RUN,r=B.11.23.050"
(1687 of 1795).

Shutting down machine, please wait.

ERROR: Software load had one or more errors.

Shalom,

I suspect in this case since you reach the install stage its bad media. Could be a problem with the laser on the DVD drive but probably not.

Firmware on the system up to date?

Hi,
perhaps somebody else initiated a shutdown during your installation.
Take a look to log /etc/shutdownlog

Hi Mamadou,

First U change installation media (CD/DVD), if the problem is same then U should replace Ur CD/DVD ROM drive. May be CD ROM lens not working.

Hi,
If you are getting the same error message again n again then it will be the dvd media issue. Please change the media and try again..
