Dear Steven
confusion?????regarding lvm,vxvm,cvm etc..
In addition to configuring the cluster, y can create the appropriate logical volume infrastructure to provide acess to data from different nodeds. This is done with logical volume manager (LVM), veritas volume manager(vxvm), or veritas cluster volume manager(CCM).LVM and VxVM configuration are done before cluster configuration, and cvm configuration is done
after cluster configuration

thanks and regards

Sajjad sahir
CVM is only used if you intend to us VxVM in a Serviceguard/Oracle RAC environment. That's quite rare, so unless you need it, you can probably strike that from your line of questions. After that, the package control script will work with either LVM volume groups or vxvm disk groups or both; whichever you decide to implement your disk management with.
