command cmapplyconf to modify cluster configuration

Hi all,

I'm trying to change the first cluster lock PV on our SG box.
Issuing a cmapplyconf -k -v -C retururns succesfully but if then I try to issue a cmgetconf no modifications has been made!Any idea?

Alessandro,

Is the cluster halted? You need to have it halted to update cluster lock configurations.

cmviewconf will show what's in the cluster binary file.
If cmapplyconf has not altered the path to the cluster lock disk, then
1) Verify the path is correct in the cluster configuration file that you used with cmapplyconf

2) Halt the cluster and perform 'cmapplyconf -C -f '

If that succeeded without errors:
3) Use 'cmviewconf | grep lock' to check paths

4) If the lock disk path still has not changed, delete the cluster and re-apply it:
$ cmdeleteconf -f
$ cmapplyconf -C -f
$ cmapplyconf -P -P ...

5) Use cmviewconf again to check.

If this fails, open a support call with HP
