moving a Quorum Server

Hello,

I have four SG cluster.
each cluster is a two node cluster, each node beeing in a different site.
we have a quorum server located on one site.

we would like quorum server to be moved to a third location.

I understand new definition is to take place in cluster.cfg files.

Can we change quorum definition without stoping the cluster?

No, this is not an online reconfigurable parameter.
You would need to have the QS available at the new site, halt each cluster, modify the ascii file to reflect the new QS details, and reapply the binary.
Of course, if the QS could be moved and retain it's ip adddress and hostname, then you would nt have to bothe, but the assumption is it will change it's ip address.

if quorum server is defined as a symblic name (e.g. quorum.mycompany.com), can we change it's IP in /etc/hosts and have a cluster relaying on new IP ?
