Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit

Can anyone give more details about this product than what I can read on the HP website ?

We are going to create 2 Serviceguard cluster with Oracle in fail-over mode. What would be the advantage of having this extra product ? Without this product, I would need to create a basic package starting from the templates and just refer to the Oracle default start/stop scripts. That's all what Serviceguard can do for us. Is there anything more that the ECMT would bring ?

Toolkit has some DB monitoring features which
can be useful if you want to use it.

The Release Notes for the latest edition of the ECM toolkit discuss at least one new feature which may be useful to you - Maintenance Mode.

Thanks already for the replies. It's quite strange that I can only find Release Notes on docs.hp.com. Isn't there some kind of installation guide ?

Oh and another strange thing. The product information sheet talks about support for Oracle 9i and 10g where the Release Notes only talk about 9i ???

What is in the kit for Oracle?

There are one user configuration script (haoracle.conf) and four
functional scripts (toolkit.sh, haoracle.sh, haoracle_sql.sh, and
haoracle.mon) which work with each other to integrate Oracle 9i with
the Serviceguard package control scripts.
