    <description>Hi guys,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just a quick question I'm hoping someone can answer for me:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does MC serviceguard hold the software ID's? I.E. If my system board fails on one half of my cluster and I replace with no SS_UPDATE will serviceguard continue to work or is it dependant on the software ID? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have told my customer it will continue to work but I can't find the documents on the web to confirm my answer. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks again for any help...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you replace system board, or even server&lt;BR /&gt;Service Guard will work - there is no dependencis between H/W and licenses (only number of CPU-s - licenses in 11i are for CPU)</description>
