    <description>Typical FORTRAN code requires a larger than default stack size. Use SAM to increase maxssiz and maxdsiz to match your "good" machine's value and then build a new kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;If this is a 64-bit version of HP-UX, you also need to make certain that the 64-bit cousin (e.g. maxssiz_64bit) are at least as large as their 32-bit counterparts. After making these changes and rebooting, run ulimit -a again to make sure the values match. It's possible that .profile (or /etc/profile) ulimit entries are also in effect.</description>
