you do not have SG patched, that is my first recommendation.
I assume you are using the same command line on both nodes, please post it here.
Also do whence cmcheckonf to make sure you are using the correct command.

Failing that, I suggest you log a call with your local HP Response Centre.

Hi

I have a MC/ServiceGuard 11.15.00 cluster running on HP-UX11i.

Problem:
If I run cmcheckconf on node A in the cluster it goes thru fine, but if I run it on node B it tells me the following.

Unknown keyword (LOCAL_LAN_FAILOVER_ALLOWED)

Note: Both systems A and B are patched the same.

Thanks

Regards

I would suggest you verify the version for Serviceguard by doing the following on BOTH nodes, and posting it here:
what /usr/lbin/cmcld

LOCAL_LAN_FAILOVER_ALLOWED is a newer keyword replacing obsolete NET_SWITCHING_ENABLED.
Hi,
Reconfirm 2 things.
1. You are using the same cluster.ascii file on both node A and Node B.
2. Check the ascii file on node B (specially the Node configuration where you define the LAN interfaces and Failover lan interfaces)

Cheers
Rajeev
